Drinking Water Safety
The objective of the Water Safety Plan (WSP) is to provide a preventive risk management system for water utility operators. The major objective of the WSP is to mitigate public health related hazards in everyday operating conditions and in emergency situations as well.
The Hungarian Water Safety Ltd. provides consulting for the establishment and the operation of Water Safety Plans. Our WSPs comply with the requirements of the 65/2009. Hungarian Gov. Decree, and provides a tool for operators for the continuous improvement of their drinking water supply service.

Obligations for water operators
The 65/2009. (III. 31.) Hunagrian Gov. Decree specifies that water utility operators exceeding the 1000 m3/d capacity or providing service by systems over 5000 cap. have to document their water safety control system in the form of a Water Safety Plan. The WSP is to be certified by the Hungarian Public Health Authority, the OTH.
